4th Annual A Race Worth Winning – ALS 5K Walk
Get those pledges, get those sneakers, and register now! Join us on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Elko Speedway in Elko, Minnesota for A Race Worth Winning's 4th Annual 5K Walk/Run! The walk/run starts at Elko Speedway and ends with a checkered flag finish on the track! Individuals and teams are welcome!
Registration begins at 8:30am and the walk/run begins at 10am.
Join us for fun and games before the walk and for lunch after the walk sponsored by the State Bank of Faribault and Carlander Cattle Company at Champions Elko Speedway.
It’s an incredible feeling to cross the finish line at Elko Speedway knowing that you have made a difference for Minnesotans diagnosed with ALS. Bring all of your family and friends!
Prizes
- All walkers receive $2.00 off general admission tickets to Elko Speedway the night of the walk (7/18/2009) AND a FREE silicone bracelet
- Each individual/team captain will receive one (1) A Race Worth Winning-ALS t-shirt AND one (1) A Race Worth Winning-ALS bumper sticker for every $150.00 raised by the individual or the team.
- The individual who raises the most money will receive four (4) general admission tickets AND four (4) garage passes to the NASCAR Cup Series race in Kansas City, Kansas on October 4th, 2009 ~ valued at $1,000!*
- The team that raises the most money will receive four (4) general admission tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide series race in Newton Iowa on August 1, 2009 AND four (4) tickets to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in Newton Iowa on September 5, 2009 ~ valued at $700.00!*

* Airfare, hotel, and all other expenses are NOT included. Tickets are non-transferable. To be eligible for these prizes, all monies must be turned in to the registration table for the event at Elko Speedway by the start of the walk on July 18, 2009 at 10:00 am CST. In the event of a tie, these prizes will be divided equally among the individuals/teams that raise the most money. Members of A Race Worth Winning-ALS and their immediate household are NOT eligible to receive these prizes.
